Guided Poster Walk of the top ranked abstracts approved for poster presentation. Each presenter will give a short presentation in this session which will be moderated by a panel of specialists in the field who will facilitate discussions and Q&A from symposium delegates.  This will be a valuable addition to the scientific program, giving researchers the opportunity to present their work in a visual format, engage in discussions with peers, and receive feedback on their research findings. The highest-scored poster in this guided poster walk session will receive an award comprising a certificate and a grant.

Duration:

Each presenter will have a 5-minute slot, with 3-4 minutes for presentation and 1-2 minutes for Q&A.

Location:

The sessions will take place in the onsite Poster Area. Presenters will gather in a group and walk from one poster board to the next in the order of their posters within the specific session. Presenters will receive information regarding presentation date and time. The guided walks will be divided into three groups and will feature posters from the topics below.

Topics:

1. Lysosomal Disorders: Mechanisms, biomarkers and treatments

2. Innovative therapies & Clinical studies and outcomes

3. Mitochondrial Disorders, Fatty Acid oxidation and related disorders

4. Dietetics, nutrition and Nursing in Metabolism

5. Protein Intoxications Disorders & Protein modification disorders, including CDG

6. Neurometabolic Disorders & Disorders of Vitamins and Cofactors

7. Novel Diagnostic Technologies & miscellaneous

Group 1: Topics 1 and 2 together, total of 10 posters over 90 mins
